Kirrawee Veterinary Hospital

We required emergency attention for our dog yesterday. My pets are long term patients at Kirrawee Vets. Joshua the vet and Kim plus another vet nurse (whom unfortunately I can’t remember her name) were all phenomenal. Our dear Ruby at near 15 years old required euthanasia. They were quick to settle her and make her comfortable until we were ready to say goodbye. It was at this point Josh was exceptional. My children were very emotional as was I. He calmly explained the procedure and was so caring towards our Ruby and us. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the years of care but most of all yesterday. Our Ruby would cuddle you all if she could’ve. I highly recommend this veteran practice.

Our beloved Tassie...border collie (14 years old) was euthanized on Saturday.....with Dr Simon....who was beyond amazing....just so caring and respectful for our feelings and the comfort of our beautiful boy....Dr Simon made the whole experience calm for us all...a wave of relief and calm was experienced when we said goodbye.....Thank You KVH.....you are just the BEST.

My dog died at the hands of this clinic and every review I leave they remove. My dog was a patient at this vet for 13 years with countless money handed to them so rightfully my review should not be taken down as a long term client. When responding to my mums message below they didn’t even know what sex he was (they refer to him as a she) even though he died in the clinic and was a patient at this vet his whole life. Rest in peace Pearlie.

We are very grateful for all the help given by Kirrawee Veterinary Hospital. Thank you to all the very friendly staff. My pets were given a caesarean section at this hospital and the operation was very successful. After 40 minutes of resuscitation, two newborn puppies without breathing and heartbeats were successfully saved and they are now both very healthy. The doctor gave me clear instructions on how to recover from the operation, with instructions on paper, and called me next day to check that everything was okay with my pets. The hospital did not re-charge for any of the post-operative recovery or stitch removal issues and the overall price was very fair. The staff at this hospital were very kind and patient with my pet during our visit. Regarding the removal of the stitches, as my pet still needed a little more time to heal on the tenth day after the operation so the stitches could not be removed yet, a very tall male doctor came out to the car park to explain why and enthusiastically helped us to make an appointment for the next correct time. I would also like to say a special thank you to Dr Marry who was very patient with my questions even outside of work hours. Dr Marry was very experienced and helped me to clear up any of my wrong doubts. And she specifically told me to get the whelping box, which literally saved the pups' lives! Otherwise the pups' mum would have crushed them by rolling over. She is also very attentive and even remembers the characteristics of each puppy！ I am very happy with the attitude of the staff, the professionalism of the doctor and the price charging of this vet.
